Babbling rivers, rushing forests, wheat fields swaying in the wind and here and there a cute little village – that's village romance! The video game from the small development studio Toukana Interactive has been delighting the gaming community since Early Access in March 2021 and has already won all kinds of prestigious awards. Now Michael Palm and Lukas Zach are transforming the popular building strategy and puzzle game into a family game for young and old with village romance – The Board Game.
In Dorfromantik: Village Romance – The Board Game, up to six players put together hexagonal tiles to form a beautiful landscape and try to fulfill the orders of the population, at the same time laying the longest possible track and river, but also taking into account the flags that provide points in closed areas. The better the players succeed in this, the more points they can achieve in the end. In the course of the replayable campaign, the points scored can be used to unlock new tiles, which are hidden in initially sealed boxes. These give the players new, additional tasks and make it possible to increase the high score further and further.
